The Dirty Underbelly of Scientology

Scientology and Forced Abortion: Laura DeCrescenzo's Three-Year Legal Odyssey

Now why does so little appear in the mainstream media about this cult? Since money makes the world go round, one suspects it is because both organizations serve the same God -- Mammon. But this is pretty horrifying both from the perspective of using children like chimney sweeps from young ages and then forcing women to have abortions or face the consequences. Pray for all those trapped in the Church of Scientology to have the courage and the awakening to get out!

  1. I've never understood religions that have such obviously uninspired sources. Both Mormonism (Joseph Smith) and Scientology (L. Ron Hubbard) share the feature of founders with very clay feet. Smith was a con-man and so was Hubbard.

Smith was conning farmers with dowsing treasure hunting claims for which he was jailed. His story about gold tablets is straight out of a fairy tale. L.Ron Hubbard was a good science fiction writer and he consciously went about starting a religion because that's how you could make money.

One has to wonder how people get gulled into following leaders like these? Peculiar to say the least.
