The Church: a Slippery Rock or the Embrace of God?

Schonborn: We WILL make the Church a Protestant sect!
Instead of cleaning off the slime of confusion and scandal, some clerical Church leaders (and others) are adding to the slime. God help them on Judgment Day! They take pride in leading the flock over the cliff of dissent and rebellion and they make themselves a stumbling block to unbelievers!

If you aren't fighting for the faith, you are part of the problem. Pray first and then correct error where you see it. Use your gifts and talents to share the faith with others, gently admonish when appropriate, especially family members who know you love them. The truth appeals to the heart. Remember what St. Augustine said, "Our hearts are restless until they rest in the Lord." God make us for Himself. Only when we run into His embrace will we know what real love is.  Speak the truth with courage and wait upon the Lord with gladness. Our joy in all circumstances testifies to the reality of God's love! Between rebellious dissent and true love based on truth which do you think has more appeal in the end?
